Biografía

Los Yeah Yeah Yeahs son una banda de Indie Rock y Garage Punk de Nueva York liderados por la vocalista Karen O. Otros miembros son Brian Chase (batería) y Nick Zinner (guitarra). Su música es una mezcla de estilos retro con guitarras punk/rock fuertes, sonidos sintéticos y chillones, erráticos y voces melancólicas. La banda se formó en el año 2000. Todo se inició en la forma de un dúo folk con Zinner y O. Pero decidieron seguir un camino más "eléctrico" inspirados por la escena avant-punk de Ohio. Después de que su anterior baterista abandonara la banda, Chase se unió a la formación. Historia El álbum de debut de los Yeah Yeah Yeahs se titulaba Extended play y fue lanzado en 2001. Continuaron con otro EP, Machine, en 2002. En 2003 los Yeah Yeah Yeahs lanzaron su primer álbum completo, Fever to Tell.
